Una Entrevista a Alba Orozco Cisnero: Las memorias aun permanecen en nuestra historia. Testimonio de resistencia

Abstract

The history of Social Work in Latin America has had a permanent social and political evolution. Between the years 1965 and 1975, a period of self-reflection was forged from the task and object of social work from the need to question the foundations in which the profession has traditionally been framed (Matus, 1999). This period, called "reconceptualization of social work", is a process that was interrupted by the violent coups d'état in our continent and in Chile, particularly in 1973.
