Abstract
A centennial anniversary, as a significant and unique event, compels us to reflect on the journey undertaken. For Chilean and Latin American Social Work, this centennial has represented an opportunity to refine our perspective on a diversity of possible approaches to its development, considering events and experiences, some more visible than others, that have unfolded alongside the social and political history of the continent.
