Professional translator and interpreter with a PhD in Translation Studies. She publishes on topics related to the history of translation and interpretation in Mexico and Chile. Since 2008, she has been teaching at the Catholic University of Temuco and is a member of its Research Center for Intercultural and Interethnic Studies. She is also a member of the Alfaqueque group at the University of Salamanca and the "Languages of Governance: Scribes, Interpreters, and Translators in the Iberian Worlds" node of the Red Columnaria network.

Emanuele Pes, ex librero anticuario e impresor, actualmente trabaja como asistente de vigilancia del patrimonio cultural en el Ministerio de Cultura de Italia. Sus intereses se centran en las dinámicas sociales y institucionales del multilingüismo de Cerdeña en la edad moderna.
